Your profile on Whip is your public calling card: your handle, your photo, a short bio, and everything you’ve made. Anyone can visit it from a feed card or a comment. Tap the Profile tab to see your own, where you can edit your details, browse your published history, and check who follows you.

What’s on your profile

At the top sits your photo, display name, bio, and three tappable counters: Whips (how many apps you’ve created), Followers, and Following. Tap Followers or Following to open the full list of people. Below that are two buttons only you see: Edit Profile and Settings. Your apps are organized into tabs:
Every app you’ve built. This includes your full published history — every public version you’ve ever published, not just the latest one, so visitors can see how an app evolved. Private apps show here for you, but nobody else can open them.
Apps you made by remixing someone else’s. Each keeps a “Remix of…” chip that links back to the original creator.
Apps you’ve tucked away so they don’t clutter your library. Archiving tidies up your own view — it doesn’t delete anything. Visitors never see your Archived tab; it’s only on your own profile.
Two more spots track your app’s reach: a Plays view (how many times your apps have been opened) and your likes. You reach both by tapping the matching notification when a milestone lands.

Edit your profile

Tap Edit Profile to change your handle and bio.

From your Profile tab, tap Edit Profile.

Change your handle

Your handle is your @username. It can be 3 to 20 characters — letters, numbers, and underscores. You can change it once every 30 days, so pick one you’ll be happy with for a while. Some handles are reserved and won’t be available.

Write your bio

Add up to 150 characters — a live counter shows how much room is left. A line about who you are or what you build helps people decide to follow you.

Save

Tap Save Changes. Your handle and bio update right away.
Your display name can’t be changed right now, and your profile photo comes straight from the account you signed in with (Apple, Google, or email). To swap your photo, update it with that provider.
Handles and bios are screened automatically before they go live, so a name or bio that breaks the community rules will be turned back — edit it and try again.

Manage an app from your profile

Long-press any app card on your profile to open a quick menu. For your own apps you’ll see options to Edit in Chat, Publish & Share (or Share if it’s already public), and Archive. On the Archived tab, the menu offers Unarchive to bring an app back to your library.

Visiting other profiles

Tap anyone’s handle or photo — on a feed card, in a comment, or in a follower list — to open their profile. You’ll see their photo, bio, counters, and their published Created and Remixed apps. Instead of the Edit and Settings buttons, there’s a single Follow button. The ”⋯” menu lets you block or report them if you ever need to.

Common questions

Once every 30 days. After you change your handle, you’ll need to wait a month before you can change it again.
Display name editing isn’t available yet — only your handle and bio can be changed today. Your handle is the name people @mention and search for, so that’s the one that matters most.
No. Private apps appear on your Created tab only for you. Nobody else can see or open them until you publish them.
